Introducing Our Incoming Pastor

Justin Burnett served as a missions engagement director for Church of the Resurrection in Leawood, Kansas. He accepted his call to vocational ministry after two pilgrimages to the Holy Land—most recently continuing his theological education at Asbury Theological Seminary with plans to conclude his MDiv at Duke. Justin grew up in the Springfield, Missouri area and completed his undergraduate studies at Drury University. In his spare time, Justin enjoys Bible study, spending time with family, nature, travel, film, playing pickle ball, and sacred music.
Introducing our Nursery Leader

Hello, my name is Destiny Spooner, I am 28 years old and have been a resident of Warsaw for over 15 years. I have 3 beautiful children: Deegan, Felicity, & Sayla. I am new to the congregation, but have been going to church services since I was little. I look forward to becoming a part of the United Methodist church family as well as providing a fun, safe environment for your children to come to church and enjoy it just as much as you!
Please join us in welcoming Destiny, our new nursery leader, and her family to the life of the church! We are so glad to have her with us. Be sure to stop by the nursery to say hello and help make her feel at home.
Our nursery is now staffed from 8:00 AM to Noon, and all children are welcome to come and have fun in a safe and caring environment. As a reminder, please sign your child in and out when dropping off and picking up, and help us spread the word!
Blessing Box- A Thank You
The Blessing Box continues to be a Godsend for our neighbors in need. The items, (including eatables, toiletries, cold weather gear and cleaning supplies), are appreciated by everyone who opens that small yellow door.
There’s a comment notebook placed in the box that has been filled with prayer requests, needs and heartfelt thank yous from our grateful community. Please feel free to look through the pages and prepare to have your heart stirred.
Thank you for being part of this wonderful mission with your prayers and donations. The folks at First UMC Warsaw truly walk with Jesus stirring their souls.
Sincerely with Faith,
Marilyn Cope
