Introducing Our Incoming Pastor
Justin Burnett served as a missions engagement director for Church of the Resurrection in Leawood, Kansas. He accepted his call to vocational ministry after two pilgrimages to the Holy Land—most recently continuing his theological education at Asbury Theological Seminary with plans to conclude his MDiv at Duke. Justin grew up in the Springfield, Missouri area and completed his undergraduate studies at Drury University. In his spare time, Justin enjoys Bible study, spending time with family, nature, travel, film, playing pickle ball, and sacred music.

Literacy Program
Book distribution for the 25-26 year has come to a conclusion. We gave a total of 2,154 books to children at North & South Schools. Pre-K through 1st grade received a book September-April. 2nd grade received book at Christmas and 160 books were given to 3rd-5th grades for their classroom libraries. Thanks to all the volunteers and to all of those who donated to this wonderful ministry.
Summer Meals for Kids
The summer food program provides three breakfasts and five lunches to an average of 450 children up to age 18 per week during the summer break. Benton Co. Salvation Army is asking for your help with funding this program. Mail your donation to: Salvation Army, PO Bos 1432, Warsaw, Mo 65355 or drop it off at 1872 Commercial St, Monday—Wednesday between 10am-2pm.
Blessing Box
June’s suggested Blessing Box donations are: canned meats & tuna, powdered milk, macaroni and cheese, bread, laundry detergent, toilet paper, bar soap, toothbrushes & toothpaste, canned fruit, chips, popcorn, water, soda, & sports drinks. Flip tops are preferred for canned items. Give as your heart leads!

Join us for a donut and conversation in the The Gathering Place every Sunday from 7:30-8:10 AM.
Soup & More
Soup & more community meal every Thursday from 4:30 PM to 5:30PM. Take a break from cooking & join us for food & fellowship.
Mission Candle
We have a new mission candle available to be lit to the glory of God and honor or memory of a person or event, which would be listed in our bulletin each week. This is a great way to support our mission and express our love. An example: “The mission candle is lit to the glory of God and in loving memory of ” .” Your loving offering, of any amount, will support our local missions e.g. Blessing Box, Benevolence Fund, Soup & More.
Lead Hymns: Once a Month Opportunity
We are starting a rotation for first service hymn leaders and would love your help. No experience needed—just a willing heart! Lead a hymn, encourage the congregation, and share the joy of worship.
